We are very happy to announce that we have added a new style to our shop: the New York II.
In this first year we have come out with several new models and styles of sunglasses, as well as 100% eco-friendly wood phone cases. One of our latest wayfarer wood sunglasses models is called “New York”, which is made of an exotic combination of wood: bubinga and ebony. What makes this pair of sunglasses so unique is that it is built of three layers of wood. In this case bubinga-ebony-bubinga. The legs are made of two layers, with the same wood on the outside as on the front part of the frame. Bubinga wood is reddish brown and contains a lot of lines.
Wayfarer wood sunglasses trial
At the Jackalope festival in Montreal last summer, we introduced a trial model as a variation to this particular model. This try-out has the same three layer setup, but the layers are placed inside-out: ebony-bubinga-ebony. Ebony is now displayed on the outside of the frame and the bubinga is clearly visible on the inside of the legs. For the Jackalope festival GoWood only offered a very limited number of pairs, which were sold out completely in no-time. This was reason to take this style in full production and now the first batch of these beautiful dark wood wayfarer sunglasses is available on our shop. And as always, these sunglasses have polarized UV400 protective lenses.
To celebrate the launch of this new style of hot wayfarer wood sunglasses, we are offering a 25% discount on the New York II until November 8th at midnight.
